Donor Criteria
To be an embryo donor:
- the female partner (or egg donor) must have been aged between 18 and 35 when the embryos were created
- the male partner (or sperm donor) must have been aged between 18 and 45 when the embryos were created
- the male and female partners (or donors) will need to go through medical and health screening checks
- the male and female partners (or donors) must have no personal or family history of inheritable disorders to reduce the risk of passing on the condition to any resultant child
NB: The above criteria is for donating your embryos for treatment of others.
However, if you are considering donating your embryos for research or training purposes, there are no pre-specified eligibility criteria.
